The TactFleece™ Hybrid Kit isn't your average outdoor set. It's one complete system — engineered from shoulders to ankles for people who move, and don't stop when the weather turns.
The same TactFleece™ Hybrid construction runs through both pieces: a breathable cotton-poly body that stays comfortable through long wear, paired with high-abrasion polyester where it takes the hit. Top and bottom built from the same logic — so they move the same way, feel the same way, and hold up the same way.
Fourteen pockets across the full kit. The Shell carries six: two hand zips, two quick-access bicep zips, and two forearm utility pockets with loop pass-throughs for tools, pens, or clips. The Pant adds eight: two easy-slide hip pockets with reinforced openings, two velcro back pockets, two calf pockets, and two waistband slots. Everything accessible while moving — nothing bouncing around.
DWR-coated Shell at 5000mm HH handles light rain and drizzle without slowing you down. Shoulder zip vents and underarm mesh dump heat when you're pushing hard. Reinforced knees on the Pant take abrasion without wearing through. Metal zip and button at the waist — no plastic hardware. Velcro at the ankle, inner knee, and wrist cuffs lock your fit exactly where you want it. Single-layer construction on both pieces keeps the weight low — so you'll forget you're wearing it, until you need it.
We built TactWild because we couldn't find gear that moved with you without looking like a sleeping bag or a tech vest. So we made it — functional where it counts, clean everywhere else.

Is the TactFleece™ Kit waterproof?
Not fully waterproof — and we'll be straight with you about that. The Shell's DWR coating handles light rain, drizzle, and splashes well. For heavy downpours, layer it under a hardshell. Think of it as your go-to kit for 80% of weather, 100% of the time.
What's the difference between the body and sleeve fabric?
Both pieces use the same TactFleece™ Hybrid construction — 65% polyester / 35% cotton throughout the body for comfort and breathability. The Shell sleeves and Pant reinforcement panels are 100% polyester — more abrasion-resistant where it takes the most wear. Each zone does a different job.
How does the sizing run?
The Shell runs true to size with an athletic tapered cut. The Pant is a straight cut — also true to size. If you plan to layer underneath or prefer a relaxed fit, size up on the Shell. Check the size chart for exact measurements before ordering.
What are the forearm loop pass-throughs for?
They're sewn-in sleeve loops on the Shell designed for hands-free carry — slide a pen, marker, torch, or small tool through and it stays put without using a pocket. A small detail that makes a real difference when your hands are full.
What's the easy-slide hip pocket system on the Pant?
The two front hip pockets have reinforced openings designed for single-hand access — no digging, no fumbling. You can reach in and out cleanly while moving. Same logic as the Shell's bicep zip pockets — everything within reach without stopping.
Why metal zip and button on the Pant instead of plastic?
Plastic hardware cracks under cold, pressure, or heavy use. Metal doesn't. It's a small detail that makes a real difference over time — the same reason we use YKK zippers on the Shell.
Can I use the Kit for everyday wear or is it strictly outdoor gear?
Both. The TactFleece™ Kit was designed with that crossover in mind — functional enough for the trail or worksite, clean enough for the city. The Wolf Grey and Asphalt colorways especially work well as a daily setup.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang dry — both pieces. Skip the tumble dryer on the Shell, heat degrades the DWR coating over time. If water stops beading off after several washes, a short low-heat tumble (10 minutes) can reactivate the coating.
